At Casas, we teach to the readiness level of each individual child, with the understanding that every child has a unique learning style. We believe your child can and should be challenged with attainable academic goals each year, encouraged as they progress in their academic and spiritual journeys.
Below you can discover the curriculum, resources, and educational experiences used in each grade level.

Kindergarten info

Kindergarten is the first big step toward independence for every child, and we want to be sure your child is prepared to thrive.

Children who are pushed too quickly into Kindergarten can struggle more than their peers in a classroom setting, which results in low self esteem, and ongoing educational, mental and social challenges.
Pushing them into a classroom setting before they are ready can do more harm than good, which is why we require all incoming Kindergarten students to participate in our Kindergarten Readiness Roundup.
The Kindergarten Readiness Roundup allows students to participate in small group exercises, simulating a classroom setting. This helps us determine whether your child has the social-emotional readiness skills to begin kindergarten. It also gives us a wonderful opportunity to begin our relational journey with your child and your family.

In order to begin the process, please click here to fill out our online application and supplemental paperwork. Once that is completed and associated fees are paid, your child will be invited to the Kindergarten Roundup.
Please note: If a student is determined ineligible to enroll after our staff evaluation the application fee will be retained to cover the expense of the Roundup process.

All new students are accepted on a nine-week probationary status. With young children, such as Kindergartners, it is often difficult to predict how they will adapt to school. If a problem surfaces after school begins, we will work with you to determine the best solution for both your child and for our classroom.
