ATHLETICS

Casas Christian School employs an Athletic Director and a Physical Education Instructor who provide a full range of athletic opportunities for our students.  Elementary School students participate in two physical education classes each week.  Middle School students participate in four physical education classes and have the opportunity to play non-competitive sports in the Tucson Independent Athletic League.  We offer two after-school sports programs to our elementary students (see Before & After School page).

At Casas Christian School, we believe that the Athletic Program is an important part of a quality Christian education.  The sporting arena is one of the best places to apply all the Christian training given in the classroom.  Concepts like being part of a body of believers, submitting to authority, loving one another are just abstract ideas until we learn to put them into practice.  Sports offer a great opportunity to develop these traits in our lives.  Therefore, we offer several different sports with the hope that our students will find one or more that they enjoy.
