STUDENT LIFE

At Casas Christian School, students are provided with many opportunities to participate in activities that develop them intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually.

ELEMENTARY GRADES

Student activities include field trips, talent show, Spirit Weeks, spelling bees, math competitions, school clubs, musical performances, orchestra, and a fifth grade overnight retreat in the spring.

Elementary students present Christmas concerts and other musical programs throughout the year.  On Grandparents Day, all students prepare a special program for their guests.  The Kindergarten students present a musical program, Kindergarten Celebration, for families and friends at the end of the year.

Elementary students have the opportunity to connect with Casas Church's Children's Ministries through Kids' Central (Sunday morning classes), AWANA (Wednesday evenings), and Children's Church.  These resources are listed on the Children's Ministries website.

ELEMENTARY AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS PROGRAMS

CCS offers elementary students two sports programs:  Fun and Fitness (K-2) is a program which encourages students to participate in activities that develop coordination and gross motor skills.  Team Sports (3-5) is a program designed to teach skill development in specific sports.  There is an additional fee for participation in these programs.

MENTORING PROGRAM

Casas Christian School operates a Mentoring Program.  This program connects new school families with a family that has been attending the school for at least a year.  The purpose of the program is to ensure that all new students and their families have the opportunity to meet and bond with another school family prior to the start of the new school year.  Forms for participating in the program are included with the Admission Application.
