SCHOOL LEADERSHIP
CCS operates under a School
Board made up of church members who set policy and oversee
the operation of the school. The Principal is the chief
administrative officer of the school and oversees all the school's
programs including instruction, Library & Computer Center Services, Food Services,
Extended Care and School Office operations. The Principal is
supported by an administrative team composed of the Assistant Principal,
Director of Administration, Director of Business Management, and
Director of Community Relations and Development.

Jeff Arnold is President of
First Magnus Lender Services in Tucson, AZ. His past experience
includes being president of both Charter Insurance Group, Inc. and
Western Pacific Insurance Brokerage. He is involved with Gideons
International, the PJA Group Consolidated Financial Services, Western
Agents Association, and the Young Entrepreneurs Society.
He began serving on the CCS School Board in 2005. Mr.
Arnold has two children attending CCS. |
Bud Cardinal is the owner of
C&C Construction, a custom home building company in Tucson. He
graduated from Arizona State University in 1961 and worked for the
telephone company as an engineer for several years prior to starting his
business. Mr.
Cardinal has served on the CCS School Board since 2001. He has also been involved in the community as a Scoutmaster
and youth sports coach in a variety of sports. Two of Mr.
Cardinal's daughters graduated from eighth grade at CCS. |
Marlis
Dinning is originally from Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science
Degree from Western Kentucky University in Medical Technology and a
Master of Science Degree in Clinical Education from the University of
Kentucky. She moved to Tucson in 1991 with her husband, Pat. For
several years, she worked for the University of Arizona as a
clinical instructor in the Medical Technology Program where she taught
chemistry and immunohematology. Mrs. Dinning has volunteered in
numerous school activities. She has served as PTF Vice President for
two years, a classroom mom, and a center helper. Mrs. Dinning has
two children attending CCS. |

David Parker

|
David Parker is a
professional engineer who currently is the Associate Director of
Facilities Management for the Arizona Student Unions at the
University of Arizona. He received a Civil Engineering Undergraduate
Degree from Memphis State University and a Masters in Business
Administration from Marymount University. He retired from the Air
Force in 1998. Mr. Parker is also a member of the Town of Oro Valley
Storm Water Utility Commission and is a coordinator and teacher in
the Casas Church Sunday Morning Kids Central ministry. He began
serving on the CCS School Board in 2005. Mr. Parker currently has
three children attending CCS and one who is a CCS alumni.

John Wolfe, born and raised in Tucson, has a Bachelor of Science degree
in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona. He works for
Mentor Graphics. A member of Casas Adobes Baptist Church
since 1986, Mr. Wolfe has four children, two of which are CCS alumni.
He has served on the CCS School Board since 2000. |

experience includes Assistant Principal for three years, and eight years of teaching in public schools (Elementary

Additionally, Mrs. Petersen received her
Principal Certification from Northern Arizona University.
Mrs. Petersen's previous experience includes teaching for two years at CCS
and three years in another private school. Mrs. Petersen has been the
Assistant Principal since 2003. |
Graduate of Denver
Women’s College. Mrs. Moore has worked at CCS since
1982 in a variety
of positions, including Food Services, Office Aide, Office Manager, and
Director of Administration. Her other experience includes working in
bank operations and management, as well as merchandising. |
B.S., Business Management, University of
Maryland.
Mrs. Plummer has thirteen years of experience in management. She
began working at CCS in 2005. Previous experience
includes three years of Human Resource Management, nine years in Education and
Training with the Air Force, and five years (and counting) in Logistics
Readiness with the Arizona Air National Guard. |
M.A., University of Alabama, Speech Communication.
B.A., University of Alabama, English and Journalism.
Mrs. Holt has been in this position at CCS since 2000. Her
previous experience includes twelve years in the public relations field and
fifteen years teaching college communication courses. |
Parents also
participate in volunteer positions of leadership in the school by serving on
the Principal's Advisory Committee, the Parent Teacher Fellowship, the
Strategic Planning Team, and the Parent Prayer Team. The Principal's Advisory Committee is made up
of parent representatives from each class and provides input to the
Principal on key issues facing the school. The Parent Teacher
Fellowship supports the students, parents, teachers, and administrators of
the school by providing funds, activities, and fellowship opportunities to
enrich the school. The Strategic Planning Team updates and evaluates the school's strategic plan. The Parent
Prayer Team is composed of volunteers from each class who meet weekly to
pray for students and their families, teachers, staff and school needs.
Casas Christian School is
accredited by North Central Association and the Association of Christian Schools International, Inc. ACSI
provides resources and support to Christian schools around the world.
