SPIRITUAL GROWTH
At Casas Christian School,
students are provided with many opportunities to grow spiritually.
Each day begins with prayer and includes a curriculum-driven Bible
study. Students attend Chapel weekly and learn how to serve others
through mission projects.

CHAPEL
Students attend Chapel each
week by grade divisions (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). These services are
times of devotion and worship and include prayer, singing, Bible
stories, skits, and object lessons. Students receive recognition
for their demonstration of godly character traits (Serving
Others program) and for academic achievements. Parents are welcome to attend
these services. Students wear uniforms on Chapel days (uniform information is
available in the School Office).

"SERVING
OTHERS" PROGRAM
Each month CCS students
are instructed in Chapel and in the classroom about a certain Christian
character trait; i.e. wisdom, self-control, humility, etc. They
learn the Biblical scriptures associated with the trait and are
encouraged to demonstrate the trait in their daily walk with God.
Additionally, students, by grade levels,
select an organization to serve as a mission or outreach project.
Meeting the needs of the organization takes many forms; i.e., raising
money, organizing a food drive, repairing a senior citizen's home,
visiting seniors in nursing homes, and many other such activities. |
