Meeting Every Student Where They Are
At Casas Christian School, we believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made, created by God with unique gifts, abilities, and potential. Because of that, we don’t believe every student should learn in exactly the same way—or at exactly the same pace.
We believe every student deserves the right level of challenge.
Through our readiness model, teachers continually assess where students are in their learning journey and thoughtfully adjust instruction to help each one take the next step. For some, that may mean additional support, targeted instruction, or modified assessments to build confidence and strengthen understanding. For others, it means deeper learning, greater complexity, and opportunities to stretch beyond grade-level expectations.
Our Student Instructional Support (SIS) team exists to help make that possible.
Led by our Student Advocate, the SIS team partners with classroom teachers to support the readiness goals of every student. Rather than working separately from the classroom, SIS team members often serve alongside teachers—providing small-group instruction, tailoring assessments, reinforcing key concepts, offering enrichment, and helping ensure each student receives the instruction they need to thrive.
We believe when we equip teachers, encourage students, and create classrooms where every learner is seen, known, and challenged appropriately, they develop the confidence, independence, and love of learning that prepare them not only for academic success, but for a lifetime of faithfully pursuing the purpose God has for them.
